His Cross stands empty to the sky.

Let streets and home with praises ring.

In death his love shall never die."

Pastor’s Letter November 2018
Thanksgiving/Christ the King

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

“Oh give thanks unto the Lord for He is gracious, slow to anger and of steadfast love.”

Now we move into the last part of the church year. Can you believe it?! Thanksgiving is almost here! So then, let us live as a thankful people. We are truly blessed. I encourage you to live as a thankful people. I also continue to be good stewards of God’s blessings and share of your time, talents, and possessions. This is Stewardship season and remember, this is your church. It is our Lord’s church - for we are the church together - so we need your support.........

DID YOU REMEMBER YOUR CHURCH WHILE YOU ARE ON VACATION!!
Vacation holidays are great!! We all need to get away to relax, rest, and
renew our energies and creativity. Also, remember that the work of the church
does not stop because we go on vacation. Your prayers and offerings make our
ministry possible. Now that vacations are over, why not catch-up on your giving
knowing that the work of the Lord through our congregation continued undiminished.
You'll be glad you did!!

CHRISTMAS FAIR DEC. 1, 2018

The elves have been working all year toward the Christmas Fair, Sat. Dec. 1, 2018. That date is not too far off. We would especially appreciate donations of cookies for the Cookie Walk. We can always use your help at Fair time to assist in setting up, selling and taking down. Monday Night Crafters meet on Mondays at 7:30 pm in the gym. Come join us!

Regarding any of the above, please contact the church office at 516-781-6374 or members of the Christmas Fair Committee.
